How to set limits for a product?

If you need to set limits for a specific product in your store, please follow the steps below.

Step1: Select "Product Limits" in the navigation bar of the app.

Step2: In the "Product Limits" section, please click the "Create product limit" or "Add product limits" button to access the creation page.

1. Specific Products: You can click the "Browse" button to select the products that need to be restricted.

After selecting a product, if you need to exclude variants, you can click the "Excluded variants" button to choose the variants to be excluded. Excluded variants will not be subject to the restrictions.

2. Quantity Limits per Product: You can set the Minimum Quantity per Product, Maximum Quantity per Product, and Quantity Multiple per Product.

Please note that these settings limit the total quantity of the product purchased. For example, if you enter "2" for Minimum Quantity per Product, the customer must purchase at least 2 units of the product when buying it—either 2 units of the same variant or 2 units of different variants.

You can click "Additional Settings" to expand more options.

3. Quantity Limits per Variant: You can set the Minimum Quantity per Variant, Maximum Quantity per Variant, and Quantity Multiple per Variant.

Please note that these settings limit the quantity per variant of the product. For example, if you enter "2" for Minimum Quantity per Variant, the customer must purchase at least 2 units of the same variant. If multiple variants are purchased, at least 2 units of each selected variant must be bought.

4. Variant Type Quantity Limits per Product: You can set the Minimum Variant Types per Product, Maximum Variant Types per Product, and Variant Type Count Multiple per Product.

Please note that these settings limit the number of different variant types that can be purchased for the product. For example, if you enter "2" for Minimum Variant Types per Product, the customer must select at least two different variants of the product when purchasing, but there is no restriction on the total quantity of variants purchased.

Step3: After you have finished setting the limits, please click "Save", then click "Publish" to apply the limits.
